Occupation: Owner of Buschor’s Bait

What I do: I create soft plastic bait in several different styles and colors. I also take orders, keep track of inventory for packaging and create social media content. 

My inspiration: In May 2023, I told my mom I was bored of homeschool work, so she suggested I create a business to count toward class work. I had seen others on YouTube creating bait and since I like to fish, I thought it would be fun. I borrowed money from my parents after my dad helped me research the items I would need.

Why bait is my passion: I love fishing with my dad and it’s awesome to be able to make my own bait with colors I came up with, and then catch fish with my creation. It’s also rewarding to see photos of my customers catching fish with my bait or when they tag me in their reels. 

Notable achievement: Having my bait available at Sunsational Farms store.

Words of wisdom: Follow God’s plan, pray about it and work hard.

When I’m not making bait: I like to read my Bible, fish and play basketball.

Life after 40: I would like to become a mechanic and have my own car shop or maybe see how my bait business goes and open my own bait and tackle shop.
