40 Under 40: Daniel Warhman, 39
Daniel Warhman, 39
Occupation: Owner of DNA Signs & Graphics
What I do: I oversee daily operations, manage client relations and lead our design and production team. I also work directly with clients as a vehicle wrap consultant, helping them bring their brand visions to life through custom signage and graphics. On top of that, I oversee the end-to-end process of vehicle wraps, custom visual solutions and sign creation, including engineering designs, managing all printing operations and executing installations.
How I got started: I’m from Venezuela and began my career there in 2006 after earning a degree in graphic design. I started learning by working with large-format printing and vinyl installation. When I moved to the U.S. in 2012, I transitioned into signage and vehicle wraps, where I further developed my skills and gained extensive experience. In 2021, I founded DNA Signs & Graphics with the goal of offering top-tier creative solutions and delivering exceptional final products and installations to my clients.
I’m passionate about signs and graphics because: I love transforming ideas into reality. It’s incredibly rewarding to see a client’s reaction when their brand comes to life through a beautifully executed sign or a vehicle wrap. Every project offers a new challenge and a chance to be creative, and I love that no two days are ever the same.
My biggest professional accomplishment: One of my proudest accomplishments is launching DNA Signs & Graphics with my wife and growing it into a trusted name in the signage industry. While we are still expanding, every single vehicle wrap we produce from concept to completion is a significant achievement for us. Each project, whether it’s a vehicle wrap, custom signage solution or storefront window and wall graphics, involves precise design and execution and we take great pride in our work. We approach every project with dedication and enthusiasm, regardless of size, and truly love what we do. Additionally, I value the strong relationships I’ve built with colleagues and other companies in the industry, and I’m proud of the trust they place in my work, especially when collaborating on projects and offering installation services.
When I’m not wrapping cars or designing graphics: I enjoy spending time with my family, especially with my wife and three kids, Eduardo, Leyla and Logan. Family time is important to me, and we love exploring new places and making memories together.
My first job: In 2012, my first job in the U.S. was as an installer assistant at Signs and Vehicle Wraps in Orlando. It was a pivotal experience that taught me the importance of hard work, perseverance, and attention to detail — values that have shaped my entire career. I’ve remained close with the owners and team, and we still collaborate on projects to this day.
My local mentor: Marcos Diaz, the owner of Signs and Vehicle Wraps, where I began my career. He has been an invaluable mentor, offering guidance and inspiration not only in business but also in life.
The best advice I’ve ever received: Came from my grandma. She said, “God is always with you, so be responsible, never give up, and always hustle for what you want.” Her words have been a strong source of strength and guidance throughout my journey which helped build my business and pursue my dreams with perseverance and consistency.
Fun fact: I enjoy cooking as a way to recharge, especially for my family during the holidays. One of my favorite dishes to make is “pan de jamón,” a Venezuelan specialty that brings a touch of home and tradition to our celebrations.
If I had a million dollars to give: I would support organizations that address child hunger globally and those focused on youth education and development. Investing in these areas can make a significant impact on future generations, ensuring that children have the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.
Life after 40: I see myself continuing to grow DNA Signs & Graphics by expanding our reach and integrating new technologies in signage, large format printing and vehicle wraps. I also plan to deepen our involvement in Lake County by supporting local initiatives and contributing to the economy through our services. Additionally, I want to mentor the next generation of professionals in these fields, sharing what I’ve learned to help others succeed.
