LEESBURG, Fla. — Leesburg High School senior Walker Clark has built an exceptional high school career, balancing academics, athletics, and leadership with amazing success. Ranked No. 6 in his class with an impressive 5.14 GPA, Clark has earned recognition as a National Merit Commended Scholar while excelling in multiple sports and student organizations.

A dedicated leader, Clark has been deeply involved in Leesburg High’s Student Government Association (SGA) since his freshman year, when he was elected class president. He continued his leadership journey as the sophomore and junior class vice president, playing a key role in student advocacy and school events. His commitment to academic excellence is further reflected in his membership in the National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, Beta Club, and Key Club—organizations that emphasize scholarship, service, and leadership.

(Walker is not just a great athlete but a great student with a 5.14 GPA.)

While maintaining an elite academic record, Clark has also been a standout in athletics. A competitive tennis player, he has represented Leesburg High with pride the past four years. His athletic versatility extends beyond tennis, as he has also been a member of the school’s swimming and golf teams. Clark’s ability to manage a rigorous academic schedule, multiple extracurricular commitments, and athletic competitions speaks to his discipline and work ethic. Whether leading in the classroom, competing in sports, or serving his school community, Clark has set an example for young kids in our community.

No doubt, Walker Clark is a strong product of the continued academic success of Leesburg High School scholars. The school has gone from a 67% Graduation Rate to over 90% in just eight years an incredible turn around. Members like Walker Clark, Jeanelle Henderson and graduates Rylan Castile-Henderson along with Jacob Wittman in recent years have elevated Leesburg High. These are future members of our community that are destined for great things.

We are so proud of Walker Clark and look forward to seeing what his future holds.
