Future of Clermont Arts and Recreation Center Discussed at Tonight’s Commission Meeting

0.8 min read| Published On: July 23rd, 2024|

The future of the Clermont Arts and Recreation Center (ARC) is set to be a key topic at tonight’s City Commission meeting. Community members who love and support the ARC are encouraged to attend and show their support for this vital community hub.

According to a sign posted at the center, since October 2023, over 80,000 people have visited the Clermont Arts & Recreation Center for a variety of activities, including theatre shows, rentals, banquets, pickleball, volleyball, swimming, basketball, and numerous recreation programs.

The sign says a significant amount of false information is currently being spread about the ARC, which could put the facility in danger of closing. They are urging the community to attend one of the upcoming City Council Meetings to vocalize your support of the Clermont Arts & Recreation Center during public comment.

City Council Meetings:

  • Clermont City Hall
    • July 23
    • August 13
    • August 27

Show Your Support! If you love the ARC and the services it provides, your presence at tonight’s commission meeting is invaluable. Let your voice be heard and help shape the future of this vital community resource.
