Eustis hosting a Back to School “Eras” Party on First Friday
School children in Eustis will receive free school supplies at the August 2 First Friday event while enjoying an “Eras”- themed dance party in the city’s downtown pocket park, featuring Taylor Swift’s hit songs and friendship bracelets.
Held from 6 to 9 p.m. the first Friday of every month in Downtown Eustis, school supplies will be limited to one per child and children must be present. Distributions will be at 6, 7 and 8 p.m.
First Friday also features live music from Kristopher James, a Florida musician and songwriter, who performs a blend of Americana and soul, described as American roots music, including country, rock, folk, R&B and the blues. James performs at venues in the Southeast, and has released several albums.
The Downtown event includes food and retail vendors along with a bounce house for children.
Get your children ready to go back to school with a fun-filled evening!
