Public Relations Professionals Installed as Officers
The Lake County chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) recently installed six members to its board of directors. The following individuals will hold office for a term of one year.
They are:
- President: Kevin Yurasek, Executive Director of Strategic Communications for Lake Sumter State College
- President Elect: Sarah Lux, APIO, Lead Public Information Officer for Lake County Board of County Commissioners
- Immediate Past President: Darryl E. Owens, Associate Vice President for Communications and Engagement at Beacon College
- Secretary/Communications: Kelsey Marquez, Marketing Officer for United Southern Bank
- Membership: Elisha Pappacoda, Communications Director for the Town of Lady Lake
- Credentialing: Mandy Wettstein, APR, CPRC, Owner of Amanda Wettstein PR and Government Relations

Originally from the small town of Berryville, Arkansas, Cindy has become a multimedia specialist in journalism, photography, videography, and video editing. She has a B.S. in Communications from the University of Central Arkansas and produces Style Magazine's Sports Hub Podcast and the Healthy Living Podcast. She also produces for Beacon College’s Telly Award-winning PBS show, “A World of Difference.” When she isn’t working, Cindy loves traveling the National Parks with her husband , Ryan, and son, David, photographing wildlife.
