Nena’s Wings & Things Opens At Former Scooter’s Barbeque In Eustis
EUSTIS, Fla. — Nena’s Wings & Things, a new restaurant in Eustis, has quickly gained a reputation for serving some of the best homemade comfort food in Lake County. Located at the former site of Scooter’s BBQ and The Dam Smoker, the restaurant is owned by Nena Kendall-Beery and her husband Jerry Beery. The restaurant is already becoming a local favorite thanks to its warm atmosphere and high-quality dishes. The new business is located at 36721 North County Road 19A, Eustis, FL 32726.
Known for their standout Philly cheesesteaks, Nena’s Wings & Things offers a variety of crowd-pleasing menu items, from burgers and wings to chicken wraps, meatballs, sloppy joes, and chili. “Everything we make is homemade. From the cheesesteak to our meatballs and burgers, it’s all fresh ingredients. We’ve been open about two months now and welcome you to come join us. We also offer music and entertainment six nights a week at Crossroads 44 in the back of the restaurant.” says owner Nena Beery.
The beer-battered boneless wings and onion rings are among the most popular items, pairing perfectly with an ice-cold beer—another highlight of the restaurant. Patrons are also treated to the convenience of being right next to Crossroads 44 Music & Sports Bar, which offers live music six nights a week, creating a vibrant and entertaining dining experience.
“We take pride in making everything with love and keeping the food affordable,” said Nena Beery. “This is more than just a restaurant—it’s a place for the community to gather, eat well, and have fun.”
With clean, welcoming décor and great food, Nena’s Wings & Things takes over a spot that has been a special gathering spot for many. The Dam Smoker used to offer some of the best BBQ in Lake County. Ultimately after Covid the business shut down and another barbecue place opened up called Scooters Barbeque. After Scooter’s left, Nena’s Wings & Things now looks to bring a fresh concept to this famous Eustis location.
We wish them the best of luck in their new venture! Take a look at the menu below.
