Eustis, Fla. — Eustis High School’s softball coach Brittany Beall, fresh off leading her team to an FHSAA State Championship, is set to become the new head coach at Florida A&M University, marking a major career milestone. Beall, an Auburn University graduate and former collegiate softball standout, has spent the last decade transforming Eustis into one of Florida’s top high school softball programs.
Under Beall’s leadership, the Panthers clinched multiple district titles and capped off the 2024 season with a thrilling state championship win, solidifying her reputation as one of the best coaches in the region. Beall ends her tenure having won 244 games and only losing 69 times. That is called domination. Known for her strategic acumen, passion for the game, and mentorship, Beall’s departure is bittersweet for the Eustis community, where she is beloved by players, parents and fans of the program.
“This is an incredible opportunity for Brittany,” said Eustis High Athletic Director Matthew Burgess. “Her impact on our program has been immeasurable, and while we will miss her, we’re excited to see her excel at the next level.”
Senior Kaylen Bublitz says “Coach Beall always wants the best for her players. She strives to make us not only the best athletes, but the best people we can be.” says Kaylen. Other players went on to say that coach Beall is dedicated, hardworking, supportive, driven and gritty.
Beall brought two-state championships to Eustis including 2024 and 2021. She also coached the Panthers in the 2017 State Championship game which the Panthers would ultimately finish runner-up.
Beall’s move to Florida A&M brings a wave of excitement and high expectations for the future of that program. Beall’s legacy at Eustis High will be felt for years to come, and her influence extends beyond the field. She’s done so much for so many young women. She’s been a voice for minority players and has helped countless individuals make it to college and have helped these young women succeed in life.
“She’s been a pillar in our community,” said Matthew Burgess. “Her commitment to developing young women as athletes and leaders has been extraordinary. She brought the school state championships but more than that she has changed lives. What she has done for our community is incredible.”
Congratulations to coach Brittany Beall! She will be greatly missed but we know she will do great things at FAMU!
