Stand Against Human Trafficking at the 4th Annual A21 Walk For Freedom Lake County
On Saturday, October 19, the 4th Annual A21 Walk For Freedom Lake County will take place at Lake Sumter State College, located at 9501 U.S. Highway 441 in Leesburg. This global event, hosted by A21, aims to raise awareness about the critical issue of human trafficking and provide support for the millions of people impacted worldwide.
A21, a nonprofit organization with a mission to end human trafficking everywhere, forever, hosts Walk For Freedom as part of their global campaign to bring attention to the harsh realities of human exploitation. This year marks the 10th Anniversary of the Walk For Freedom, making it an especially meaningful event.
Thousands of participants across the globe will walk in solidarity on October 19, and you’re invited to join the cause locally in Lake County. The event is free, but registration is required. Visit a21.org/lakecounty to register and find additional information.

Following the walk, participants will have the chance to connect with local organizations dedicated to fighting human trafficking. Human service groups and experienced front-line professionals will be available to share resources and educate attendees on the risks and realities of exploitation and human trafficking.

Originally from the small town of Berryville, Arkansas, Cindy has become a multimedia specialist in journalism, photography, videography, and video editing.
