Eustis, Fla. – The Eustis High School Golden Panther Marching Band earned top honors at this year’s annual Florida Bandmasters Association (FBA) District Marching Music Performance Assessment (MPA) held this past Saturday. The band delivered a show-stopping performance that won them straight superior ratings, the highest mark awarded, reflecting both their musical precision and artistic showmanship.

The Golden Panthers’ success at the event underscores the dedication and skill of the young musicians, who worked tirelessly to perfect their routines in preparation for this esteemed competition. Their accomplishment not only brought pride to Eustis High School but also highlighted the support of the broader community.

“It’s a great day to be a Panther!” said the band director Matt Flenner who expressed pride in the students’ achievements and gratitude for the ongoing support of the Eustis band program.

With their hard work and high ratings, the Golden Panthers have achieved great success this year. They are always entertaining at the football games and at school events. They work so hard and these kids put in tons of hours. It’s so great to see it all pay off with two Superior performances. Well done!
