Lake Minneola High Baseball Player Fabian Antonsanti Soto Commits To Stetson University
LAKE MINNEOLA, Fla. — Fabian Antonsanti Soto, a standout junior from Lake Minneola High School, has announced his commitment to play baseball at Stetson University. The versatile infielder has emerged as one of the top high school prospects in Central Florida, showcasing his skills both at the plate and in the field.
Antonsanti Soto’s sophomore season was nothing short of stellar. He posted a .432 batting average, collecting 38 hits, including six doubles and three home runs. His offensive output also included 21 RBIs and 27 runs scored, with an impressive .505 on-base percentage. If it is one thing about Fabian it’s that he gets on base. He even drew 12 walks in 2024. One of the biggest things I love is OBP (On Base Percentage). It worked in the movie Moneyball and if you get on base, that’s one of the most important aspects of the game. The fact that Fabian is also a good fielder makes him a sought after player.
“All glory to God. I’m thrilled to take the next step in my journey with Stetson University,” said Antonsanti Soto. “It’s a great program with a history of developing players, and I’m excited to contribute to their success.”
Fabian is the type of player who makes everyone around him better. His dedication to the game and consistent performance are what set him apart. Stetson is getting a tremendous player and an even better person.
Antonsanti Soto joins a Hatters program with a strong tradition of success in collegiate baseball. Known for producing MLB talents, including Jacob deGrom and Corey Kluber, Stetson provides a platform for players to one day excel on the national stage.
Fabian is focused on leading Lake Minneola to big things in 2025. Lake Minneola High is coming off a successful season last year which saw them make the FHSAA Class 6A Playoffs. While they would lose in the first round getting upset by Viera, who would end up making the State Final Four, there was a lot to build upon for the team. 2025 looks like it is shaping up to be a massive year for the Hawks program.
Congratulations to Fabian Antonsanti Soto, his family, coaches, friends and everyone who has helped him get to this moment. We look forward to watching his junior year!
