Green Christmas

The Christmas in July Toy Drive sponsored by the Groveland Police Department (GPD) was held Saturday, July 20 at the Groveland Ace Hardware. The event was paired with an outdoor expo and car show and sponsored by O’Reilly Auto Parts, Dynamic Designs and Ace. The family/pet-friendly event featured representatives and goodies from local attractions, businesses and organizations, including Revolution Adventures, Swiss Fairways, Clermont Bowling, Lake County, the Groveland Fire Department and more. Dozens of donated gift baskets and other items were raffled off with proceeds to benefit GPD-sponsored Christmas-related events and programs for local families in need.
