EUSTIS, Fla. — Timothy Key, a senior at Eustis High School, is proving that excellence knows no bounds. Balancing a stellar academic record with his athletic achievements, Key boasts a 4.3 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society.

On the court, the 6’3″ forward is building on an impressive junior season that saw him rack up 392 points and 168 rebounds. This year, he has continued his dominant form, already scoring close to 100 points and securing over 20 rebounds just a few games into the season.

Key’s basketball journey began at Mount Dora High School, where he played as a freshman and sophomore before transferring to Eustis. The move has paid dividends, as his leadership and work ethic have become cornerstones of the Panthers’ success.

“Timothy is the kind of player every coach dreams of,” said Eustis head coach Wesley Green. “He’s not only a force on the court but a role model off it. His intelligence and dedication make him a true leader for our team.”

“I have always made sure my academics get done before anything else. I try and show that you can be equally committed to academics as athletics and hope that inspires others.” says Timothy.

With his sights set on another standout season, Key’s blend of academic and athletic prowess makes him one of Lake County’s most inspiring student-athletes. Whether it’s in the classroom or on the hardwood, he’s determined to make his senior year one to remember. Keep up the great work Timothy!
