BUSHNELL, Fla. — Aspyn Winter, a seventeen-year-old senior at South Sumter High School, is achieving a major milestone as her debut novel, The Crossroads, hits the shelves. Published by ReadyAimWrite Kids, an independent publishing company founded by author Stephen Kozan, the book marks the beginning of what Winter hopes will be a long and successful writing career.

A natural storyteller, Winter’s passion for writing began in first grade when she penned her first book, a project she still dreams of one day publishing. “Writing has always been my way of expressing myself and exploring new worlds,” said Winter.

In addition to her literary endeavors, Winter is a dedicated student whose favorite subject is science, particularly biology. She plans to pursue a doctorate in pathology after graduating high school, aiming to combine her love of science with her intellectual curiosity.

When she’s not writing or studying, Winter can be found on the sidelines cheering on her beloved South Sumter Raiders as a member of the school’s cheerleading squad. Cheerleading is like her second family. It’s where she can be herself and support my school.

Winter also nurtures a quieter passion: her “plant mom” hobby. She takes pride in her collection of plants, which she lovingly tends to when she isn’t busy with her many other pursuits.

The Crossroads is already generating buzz. It’s an exciting story and we are excited for people to read it. For those who want to order a copy, visit https://kidswritestories.net/book/the-crossroads/
