Little Dresses, Big Event

The Women’s Giving Alliance (WGA) of the Community Foundation of South Lake celebrated its 10th anniversary with a Little Black Dress Soirée on September 19, 2024. This milestone gala marked a decade of transformative philanthropy dedicated to enhancing the lives of women and children in the South Lake area. Attended by dozens of members and guests at the lovely home of Cary Carbonaro, the WGA was recognized for the more than $265,000 in community grants over the years supporting 13 South Lake County nonprofit organizations dedicated to helping women and children. The night also served as a call to action for the future, starting with a grant presentation to the (Faith) Neighborhood Center of South Lake.
