Sowing Seeds

This month, we’re reconnecting with our roots—literally!

We’re turning our attention to gardening and the farm-to-table lifestyle. It’s the perfect way to kick off a fresh and meaningful chapter after celebrating 20 incredible years of serving this community.

While I’ll admit I’m no seasoned gardener, I’ve heard that getting your hands in the soil is a wonderfully grounding experience (pun intended!).

On the practical side, rising food costs have moved many in our community to grow their own fruits and vegetables—a rewarding movement that’s inspiring to watch unfold.

This month’s issue is brimming with tips and insights to help you get started, whether you’re a first-time gardener or have a green thumb.

Outside the garden, we’re proud to highlight incredible local businesses that make this community special. Our profiles showcase their unique offerings, their dedication, and why supporting them matters. It’s our way of celebrating the entrepreneurial spirit that defines our area. Be sure to explore these features and discover some hidden gems!

Looking ahead, we’re thrilled about next month’s Homes Issue. We’ll take you inside the world of  Lake & Sumter’s 2025 Realtor of the Year and offer tips on home buying, remodeling, and building. It’s packed with value, inspiration and exclusive local insights you won’t want to miss.

As we continue into 2025, our goal remains the same—to celebrate the resilience, creativity, and passion of our readers. Whether you’re trying your hand at gardening, supporting local businesses or simply flipping through our pages with your morning coffee, know you’re part of something bigger. A family. A vibrant, thriving community that Style Magazine is proud to call home.

Your ideas and feedback mean the world to us, so please don’t hesitate to share! We love hearing about your stories, your successes and your questions. Together, we’ll make 2025 a year to remember.

Stay curious, stay inspired, and most importantly, stay connected.

Sincerely,

Kendra
