East Ridge High’s Hanna Warren Signs Commitment to Flagler College

CLERMONT, Fla. — East Ridge High School senior Hanna Warren made her college commitment official on Thursday, March 27, signing her letter of intent to join Flagler College’s women’s cross country and indoor and outdoor track and field teams. Warren is set to begin competing for the Saints in the fall of 2025.

(Warren was joined by her family today as she signed her letter of intent to join Flagler College to continue her Cross-Country and Track career.)
Warren’s stellar performances during her junior and senior seasons drew attention from multiple college programs, but it was in October of her senior year that she caught the eye of Flagler’s coaching staff. A few weeks later, the Saints’ head coach and assistant coach traveled to Tallahassee to watch Warren compete in the cross country state championships. Following her strong showing at the state meet, conversations between Warren and Flagler intensified, leading to two visits to the historic St. Augustine campus. Soon after, she made the decision to become a Saint.

(Warren was one of the top runners in East Ridge High School history.)
One of the most accomplished runners in East Ridge’s 23-year history, Warren leaves the program as the third-fastest cross-country runner the school has ever produced. Her personal-best 5K time of 18:44 stands among the best in program history. Over her four-year career, she played a crucial role in the Knights’ success, helping secure two Lake County championships, three district titles, and the school’s first-ever regional championship.

As a senior captain, Warren’s leadership extended beyond her performances on the course. Her dedication to summer conditioning, daily training, and meet preparation set a high standard. She was and still is among the top runners in Lake County. She is hoping to add a State Medal to her list of accomplishments this year.
Now, as she prepares for the next chapter at Flagler, Warren leaves behind a lasting impact on East Ridge’s program. We are so proud of her and we want to congratulate the Warren family, her coaching staff, friends and everyone who helped her get to this point! Way to go Hanna!
