CLERMONT, Fla. — East Ridge High School standout Jordan Corman has committed to play basketball at Keiser University in West Palm Beach, adding a key recruit to the Seahawks’ program.

Corman, a dominant two-way player for the Knights, leaves behind an impressive high school career. Over 49 games at East Ridge, the 6-foot-5 forward averaged 9.7 points per game, including 10.8 in his senior season. He was a force on the boards, pulling down an average of 10.6 rebounds per game, and his defensive prowess was evident with 4 steals per contest.

(Not only a strong offensive player, Corman was a defensive standout for East Ridge High averaging four steals per game.)

“This is a dream come true,” Corman said. “I’ve worked hard for this, and I’m excited for the opportunity to compete at the next level.”

Corman’s recently had the opportunity to represent the United States with PhD Hoops in Spain, where he competed last year. When he’s not on the court, Corman remains active in his community. He frequently works out in the gym, referees local recreation league games, and mentors young athletes. This past year, he returned to his old middle school to assist with the girls’ basketball team, helping guide them to one of their best finishes in four years.

(Jordan Corman sits next to football player Uriah Maynard who also signed to Wagner University.)

“Coaching gave me a whole new perspective on the game,” Corman said. “It’s something I’d love to pursue after college along with being an entrepreneur. I’ve always wanted to build my own path in life.”

Corman joins a Keiser program that has established itself as a competitive force in the NAIA. We are very excited for Jordan Corman. Congratulations to his family, friends, coaches and everyone who has helped get him to this point in his career. Way to go Jordan!
