Orlando Health South Lake Hospital Honors Two Team Members for Outstanding Service

Orlando Health South Lake Hospital recently recognized two team members for their dedication and exceptional service in the healthcare environment.
Amanda Evans, RN, an advanced care nurse in the emergency department, received the DAISY Award, which honors nurses for their passion, empathy, teamwork, admirable attributes, love for patients and the nursing profession, and selflessness.
Trudy Brown, a nursing assistant in the progressive care unit, received the BEE (Being Extraordinary Everyday) Award, which recognizes non-nursing healthcare team members who provide exemplary service and compassionate care to patients and their families.

Originally from the small town of Berryville, Arkansas, Cindy has become a multimedia specialist in journalism, photography, videography, and video editing. She has a B.S. in Communications from the University of Central Arkansas and produces Style Magazine's Sports Hub Podcast and the Healthy Living Podcast. She also produces for Beacon College’s Telly Award-winning PBS show, “A World of Difference.” When she isn’t working, Cindy loves traveling the National Parks with her husband , Ryan, and son, David, photographing wildlife.
