Crooked Can Brewery Company Breaks Ground On New Minneola Location

MINNEOLA, Fla. — Community leaders and residents gathered with excitement this week to celebrate the groundbreaking of Crooked Can Brewery’s newest location in Minneola, marking a milestone moment in the city’s continued growth and development.

The brewery, known for its award-winning craft beers and lively atmosphere, is expanding into South Lake County with a brand-new facility that promises to be a hub of local culture, food, and entertainment.

“We are excited to celebrate this significant milestone in our community, as it marks the beginning of a new establishment that will bring economic growth and vibrant culture to Minneola,” city officials said during the ceremony.

(The outside of the Crooked Can will be completely modern and will be a fun spot to have a cold one and hang out.)

The new Crooked Can location will feature a state-of-the-art brewery, taproom, and a variety of food options, offering residents and visitors a place to gather and enjoy memorable experiences. With the addition of Crooked Can Brewery it will bring jobs and continued growth to Minneola a place that has absolutely exploded with famlies and business the past decade.

“We’re thrilled to celebrate the groundbreaking of Crooked Can Brewery, where we can look forward to great brews, fantastic food, and unforgettable experiences,” officials added. “Together, let’s raise a glass to this new venture and the positive impact it will have on our community for years to come. Cheers to new beginnings!”

Construction is expected to continue through the year, with the brewery’s grand opening anticipated sometime later this year or early next year depending on the construction timelines.

Kyle Coppola was born in Newton, Massachusetts and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communications from Curry College in 2016. After traveling to Florida on a family vacation, he decided he could not get enough of the warm weather and made the move from snowy Massachusetts to central Florida 8 years ago.

For the last decade Kyle has gained valuable experience in social media content creation, marketing and sales, writing, video production, sports announcing and even broadcasting for local radio stations, such as FM 102.9 in The Villages and FM 91.5 in Massachusetts. Every year he volunteers at The Villages Charter High School as a play-by-play sports announcer for the football games as well as a public address announcer for the basketball games, including the annual Battle at The Villages Tournament.

Outside the office Kyle is a husband and father to two beautiful girls along with their cat. In his spare time he likes to spend time with his family, travel, play golf and swim. He is also a huge sports junkie and even bigger motorsports fan and loves to attend racing events when he can.
