Men of Success 2025 – Dave Casamona

Dave Casamona never set out to build a wellness destination. But after he and his wife, Alisha, moved their horses onto a quiet piece of land on Lake Seneca in Eustis, things began to shift. “It just happened organically,” Dave says. “We kept adding adjacent property, and it started to become something more.”

Today, Redbird Cottage & Farm is a peaceful 7-acre retreat that blends nature, horses and healing. Guests can book the lakeside cottage or cabin online and unwind with fishing, kayaking, birdwatching, watching the horses graze or register for Wellness Horsemanship, a program designed for anyone seeking peace, clarity or personal growth.

“There’s just something special about the land; it almost speaks to you,” Dave says. “Guests sometimes extend their stay because they don’t want to leave.”

The farm’s name—based on the belief that when you see a red bird, it’s a sign that angels are near—honors Alisha’s late father John, whose passing in 2021 from COVID inspired their move.

“That’s what this place is—it’s a healing space we were meant to create and share,” Dave adds.
