Local incoming freshman quarterback Brennan LoRicco from Minneola who is a 6’0″ 145lb freshman will be playing football for Trinity Preparatory School in 2025. The young local freshman recently attened the Penn State Football camp and was very impressive. Six Star Football Scouting says “LoRicco demostrated leadership, pois, and sharp mechanics while early in his development. LoRicco is a smooth operator in the pocket with a quick release and clean throwing motion. As a class of 2029 signal-caller, he stood out at the Pylon 7v7 Tournament in tampa, where his ability to read coverages and deliver accurate balls in tight windows gained attention.”

LoRicco is one of our area’s most anticipated young freshman quarterbacks to come out of pop warner. He played last year for the Clermont Knights pop warner team and the Celebration Storm in the Florida Elite. He also played with the Clermont Cowboys in the Clermont Youth Athletic Football League where he became a member of the Florida All-Star team.

Brennan has already gotten a start for Trinity Prep in the school’s spring football game where he helped the team to an undefeated record in the spring game Jamboree. Trinity Prep was 1-11 last year and in all three games Trinity came out on top. Most importantly, LoRicco took care of the football throwing 2 touchdowns in the Jamboree nad no interceptions. It speaks volumes about his efficiency and ball security.

“I give all the credit to my teammates. We win as a team and lose as as team. It’s a whole new era of Trinity Football!” says LoRicco.

LoRicco had the opportunity to learn from Penn State Quarterbacks coach Danny O’Brien recently and the experience rubbed off on the young freshman who will also be headed to the Manning Passing Academy at the end of June for his third year. LoRicco has already trained with the best division 1 quartebacks in in the country including Drake Maye the Patriots Starter, Arch Manning, Jaylen Milroe, and Quinn Ewers. LoRicco also trains year round with former Pittsburgh Steelers Quarterbakc Rod Rutherford in Orlando.

“His arm strength continues to improve, but it’s his football IQ and anticipation that stood out. He threw to spots, not just receivers. LoRicco is refining his skill set under the guidance of elite QB trainers like Baylin Trujillo and Rod Rutherford at XII Academy.

We are super excited for what this young Lake County freshman is capable of. Be on the lookout for Trinity Prep to have a much stronger year with LoRicco at quarterback.
