VanderBrew Coffee Shop Announces Major Expansion Ahead of One-Year Anniversary

VanderBrew Coffee Shop is expanding its downtown Leesburg location to include a new 2,000-square-foot addition that will enhance both its offerings and community experiences.
The café will close for one week at the end of June to begin preparing the new space, which will feature an in-house coffee roasting room and an area dedicated to educational classes about the art of coffee. Guests will have the opportunity to participate in roasting demonstrations and coffee tastings as part of the new programming.
The expansion comes as VanderBrew approaches its one-year anniversary on September 18, when the team will officially unveil the upgraded space to the public. A new business concept is also planned for the upstairs level of the building, to be announced at the anniversary celebration.
Owned by Tom and Georgina Frost, who have held the property for more than a decade, the decision to expand VanderBrew follows a year of strong community response and support. The shop has quickly become a staple in downtown Leesburg, known for its specialty coffee, curated teas, and healthy, approachable menu—all overseen by General Manager Sarah Tremblay, who has led the team since launch.
“It’s been such a fun year building this menu and reconnecting with the Leesburg community,” Sarah says. I’m really excited for what’s next—especially with our one year anniversary and this expansion happening at the same time.”
VanderBrew will maintain its regular hours throughout the summer, except for the brief June closure for renovations. They are open Monday–Saturday: 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Sunday: 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The team encourages guests to visit, grab a cup and be part of the next chapter as VanderBrew grows into an even more dynamic space for coffee lovers and the Leesburg community.
