Community Basketball Courts Renovated in Eustis

The City of Eustis Parks and Recreation Department made a huge impact on the community by renovating three public basketball courts at Carver Park, located at 2214 Bates Ave., Eustis.
Upgrades included leveling, sealing and repainting the courts, along with the installation of six new adjustable basketball goals, replacing the old equipment with high-performance options.
These new goals can be raised or lowered from 8 to 10 feet in height, enabling players of varied skill levels to customize their gameplay at Carver Park.
The revitalized courts will benefit youth and adult basketball camps and leagues expected to begin later this year. These courts will enable teams to use the facilities safely for games and practices, fostering a sense of community and encouraging recreational activities.
“We have seen an influx of residents use the basketball courts, including our program kids, since the renovations were completed,” says Sam Brinson, Parks and Recreation Director. “Everyone has expressed their excitement and gratitude for the newly renovated courts.”
The basketball courts are open daily from sunup to sundown and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The City of Eustis Parks and Recreation Department also plans to refresh the basketball courts at Liberty Park and Sunset Island Park.
