The South Lake High School boys’ and girls’ bowling teams extended their perfect starts to the season Tuesday night with decisive wins over Leesburg High School.

The teams, coached by Matthew Sanderlin, improved to 7–0 behind standout performances from Ryan Sapp, who rolled a 236, and Hayden Stuben, who paced the team with a 255. Dale Hull is also having himself a great year. Dale is one of the top high school bowlers in the state. Most recently, he competed in the 2025 Junior Gold Championships in Green Bay, Wisconsin, an elite national event featuring nearly 1,400 of the best high school bowlers from around the country. Dale finished in the top 50, an outstanding achievement at that level.

On the girls’ side, the Eagles also climbed to 7–0, led by Leila Linde’s 153 and Ashlinn O’Brien’s 165.

Both teams remain at the top of the district standings as they head into the heart of the season.
