Lake Minneola Volleyball Hosting “Dig Pink” Night to Support Breast Cancer Awareness

Lake Minneola High School is gearing up for a special cause on Thursday, Oct. 2, as the community comes together for its annual Dig Pink Volleyball Night, an evening dedicated to raising awareness and supporting the fight against breast cancer.
The event, which will take place at the Lake Minneola High School gym, will feature the school’s volleyball teams taking the court in honor of breast cancer survivors, fighters, and those lost. The evening’s theme centers on community, compassion and hope, and organizers are inviting anyone affected by breast cancer to attend the game as Guests of Honor. Those interested in being recognized can complete a brief online form to participate.
In addition to honoring survivors, the school is aiming to raise $1,500 for the Greater Clermont Cancer Foundation, a local nonprofit that supports families and individuals battling cancer. Donations can be made directly through the school’s online fundraising link.
Fans are encouraged to wear pink to show their support, and those who pre-ordered Dig Pink T-shirts will be able to pick them up once they arrive.
