The Town of Lady Lake will host a weeklong celebration of its 100th birthday beginning Monday, Nov. 3 and ending with a grand Centennial Celebration Finale on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 5-9pm at the Guava Street Athletic Complex.

The free, family-friendly event will feature live music from the Red Mint Band, delicious offerings from local food trucks, vendors, a kids’ zone, and a spectacular firework show to close out the evening. Attendees are invited to bring lawn chairs, enjoy the music, and join in commemorating 100 years of history, growth, and community pride. Free shuttle service courtesy of Lamers is available to and from the event! Park at Rolling Acres Sports Complex and catch a ride to Guava Street Athletic Complex for fun, festivities and the best view of one of the largest fireworks shows to ever grace Lake County.

The centennial week, hosted by Lady Lake Parks & Recreation, honors the town’s official incorporation on Oct. 19, 1925, and celebrates its evolution from a railway and citrus hub into a thriving, community-focused hometown.

“Lady Lake’s centennial has been an incredible opportunity to reflect on where we’ve come from and celebrate where we’re going,” said Events Coordinator Amy Alicea. “We have an amazing week of events planned, and this finale is our way of bringing everyone together one more time to celebrate as a community under the fireworks.”

The finale caps off a series of centennial events, including The Taste of Lady Lake Speakeasy, historical exhibits, and community activities honoring Lady Lake’s heritage and spirit.
