Beacon College Cross Country Qualifies for USCAA Nationals

Three runners from Beacon College’s cross country team have qualified to compete in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association national cross country meet on Nov. 8 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, at Penn State Fayette. This marks the second consecutive year that Beacon College has sent athletes to the national championship in both men’s and women’s cross country.

Representing in the men’s 8K event are:
- Joshua Popper, a freshman business management in hospitality and tourism major from Denver, Colorado
- Justin Quevedo, a junior psychology major from Naples, Florida
Competing in the women’s 6K event will be:
- Jaylen Williams, a junior business management major from West Chester, Pennsylvania
“Qualifying for a national event is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and resilience all season long,” said head coach Tony Wrice. “There’s no greater thrill than watching our student athletes achieve something they thought was unreachable. We’re excited to take on the challenge and represent Beacon College on the national stage!”
