40 Under 40: Andrii Korchuk

What drives me: My faith inspires me to live with purpose and reminds me that each day is an opportunity to give back.
My legacy: I hope to be remembered as a leader who acted with integrity, supported others and helped build a strong foundation for the future.
Fun fact: I love being outdoors, especially hiking, mountain biking and skiing.
Andrii Korchuk understands the power of purpose. As chief financial officer at AdventHealth Waterman, he focuses on building systems that keep healthcare accessible, sustainable and ready to meet the growing needs of Lake County.
“I’ve always believed leadership is about creating stability for others,” he says. “When the foundation is strong, people can grow and do their best work.”
His path to that purpose began with a courageous move. Andrii was born in Ukraine but left everything familiar behind when he moved to the United States as a young man to pursue an education.
The experience taught him adaptability, resilience and courage when the future felt uncertain.
“That move changed my life,” he says. “It taught me that discomfort is often the best teacher.”
Over the years, he was mentored by a few core healthcare executives who recognized his potential and pushed him to grow.
“Without that support, I wouldn’t be where I am today,” he says. “You don’t grow in isolation. The people who guided me made all the difference, and I try to do the same for others. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing others succeed.”
“When people feel valued, the whole organization thrives.”
Outside of work, Andrii finds clarity in the outdoors. Whether hiking, mountain biking or skiing, he uses time in nature to reset and reflect.
“That’s where I find balance,” he says. “It keeps me grounded and reminds me what really matters.”
When people look back on his career, Andrii hopes they remember more than titles or accomplishments.
“I want to be known as someone who led with integrity, invested in others and built something that lasts,” he says.
His strong faith continues to guide and calm him and serves as a compass. He believes that strong teams are built on trust, collaboration and a shared mission. For him, leadership is about service.
“Leadership is a gift,” Andrii says. “It’s a privilege to serve others while building something that outlives you.”
