Hailey Franklin

Age: 25

Career: Realtor® at Morris Realty & Investments

My legacy: I feel really fortunate to have discovered what I’m passionate about at a young age, and I hope I can help at least one student find that same spark for themselves. For the past three years, I’ve mentored local high school students through Take Stock in Children with the Education Foundation, and it’s one of the most rewarding things I do. I tell my mentee that the last thing I want is for them to spend their life in a job that isn’t fulfilling. It’s so important to find something you truly enjoy doing.

Fun fact: I’m a total nature lover, and if it were up to me, I’d go barefoot everywhere.

For Hailey Franklin, success in real estate is built on authenticity, integrity and a deep love for her hometown of Leesburg, where she was born and raised. The daughter of a nurse and a local business owner, she credits her parents for shaping her work ethic and her commitment to helping others.

I grew up watching my mom care for people with compassion and my dad run his business with honesty and hard work,” she says. Helping others and doing the right thing, that’s something I owe to them.”

Hailey was young when she embarked on her real estate career. At 20, she often faced skepticism from clients who couldn’t believe her age. Instead of being discouraged, she turned it into motivation, learning everything she could, gaining experience and proving that dedication and knowledge matter far more than age. She laughs when remembering how she’d tell herself to embrace the suck,” a reminder to keep pushing through the tough moments.

Now, just a few years later, Hailey has built a thriving career and a trusted reputation in Lake County’s competitive real estate market. And her impact extends beyond business. For the past three years, she has mentored local students through Take Stock in Children with the Education Foundation, helping them explore their goals and discover careers that excite them.

The last thing I want is for someone to spend their life in a job that isn’t fulfilling,” she says. It’s so important to find something you truly love.”

Hailey hopes to be remembered as a Realtor her clients could always count on, one who was honest, responsive and deeply committed to their success. She prides herself on staying informed and constantly learning, ensuring her clients always have the best advice possible.

Right now, what drives her most is the challenge itself.

Real estate doesn’t let you be lazy,” she says. If you don’t put in the work, you don’t get results, and that’s what I love about it. I get to be my own boss and compete against myself every day.”

When she’s not helping clients find their perfect home, Hailey can usually be found outdoors, enjoying nature, preferably barefoot. It’s a reminder of the grounded, genuine spirit that continues to define her life and career.
