40 Under 40: Riley Hoffer

What Shaped Me: Knowing that everything I’m building — my business, my habits, my values — isn’t just for today, but for my future self and my future family. I want to look back one day and know I laid the groundwork for a life that feels full and meaningful! That thought keeps me going, even on the tougher days.
My Legacy: I hope my leadership serves as a reminder to the next generation about the importance of staying true to yourself. Whether it’s choosing a career path, pursuing a specific role, or simply the way you show up in business, I want people to know that honoring your unique pathway matters.
Riley Hoffer is just 29 years old but has already made an impressive name for herself in the competitive world of real estate. As a realtor with Orange Slice Properties, she’s known for pairing business savvy with authenticity, a balance she believes is key to long-term success.
Riley says that graduating college during the uncertainty of the pandemic was a defining turning point in her life.
“It was an incredibly uncertain time,” she says. “We didn’t know what the next few days would look like. The only option was to keep moving forward, one step at a time.”
That persistence led her to join her family’s real estate business, an experience she calls “a blessing in disguise,” one that taught her resilience and adaptability.
Riley has faced her share of challenges. She was at a company without mentorship or guidance when the real estate market slowed in 2024-’25. Instead of giving up, she pivoted, joining Orange Slice Properties, where she found the mentorship she needed to thrive.
“Don’t be afraid to ask for help, and don’t be afraid to pivot when something isn’t working,” she says.
She carries that lesson into every area of her life. Her leadership philosophy centers on authenticity and innovation.
“Success doesn’t come from copying someone else’s formula,” she says. “It comes from having the courage to build in alignment with your own voice and values.”
For Riley, true success goes beyond sales.
“I want people to say they loved doing business with me because I made them feel seen and cared for,” she says.
