Mount Dora To Host 13th Annual Scottish Highland Festival in February

The City of Mount Dora welcomes the return of the 13th Annual Mount Dora Scottish Highland Festival, February 20–22, 2026. This annual event invites residents and visitors to experience a vibrant celebration of Scottish heritage through music, dance, athletics, food, and cultural traditions.

The festival weekend begins Friday, February 20, with a lively Scottish Cèilidh at the Mount Dora Music Hall inside the Community Building. Guests will enjoy live Celtic music performances and traditional Highland dancing in an energetic and welcoming atmosphere.

The celebration continues Saturday and Sunday, February 21–22, at Donnelly Park (530 N. Donnelly Street) and Elizabeth Evans Park (100 N. Donnelly Street). This two-day outdoor festival features immersive experiences and family-friendly activities for all ages.

Festival Highlights Include:
- Live Performances: Dynamic performances throughout the weekend by acclaimed bands and artists including Albannach, The Harp Twins, Poehemia, Celtica Nova, Seán Heely Celtic Band, Thomas Keefer, traditional Irish dancers, and more.
- Heritage Village & Vendors: Explore Scottish history and traditions through interactive exhibits, traditional crafts, and authentic food and beverage offerings.
- Special Exhibits: Border Collie and Highland Cow exhibits will be featured Saturday, February 21.
- Scottish Highland Athletics: Iconic crowd-favorite events such as the caber toss, hammer throw, and stone put showcase remarkable strength and time-honored Scottish athletic traditions.

Complimentary parking and shuttle service will be available at First Baptist Church (1000 E. 1st Avenue, Mount Dora):
- Saturday: 9:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- Sunday: 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
