Pumpkin Nice

What began as a small market grew into a lively showcase of more than 75 crafters, artists and small businesses offering handmade goods, vintage finds, seasonal decor and edible treats. The Festival at Sunsational Farms in Umatilla, set against rolling farmland and The Big Orange, once again proved why it has become one of the area’s most anticipated fall gatherings. Families enjoyed carnival games, bounce houses, the pumpkin patch and the farm’s sprawling playground, while adults browsed vendors and sampled fall-inspired drinks. The festival also featured pet adoptions in honor of Lake & Sumter Style Magazine’s summer feature pushing fur-ever homes for animals housed in local shelters. By day’s end, a couple of cats had found new homes and many families took the first step by applying to adopt available dogs and puppies.
