Second Annual Golf Tournament Honors Fallen Master Deputy Bradley Link

More than 200 golfers gathered at The Plantation Golf Club on Saturday, Jan. 24, to honor the memory of Master Deputy Bradley Link during the Second Annual Bradley Link Memorial Golf Tournament.

The event, which drew 204 participants and utilized both the Cranes Roost and Otter Creek courses, served as a tribute to Link, who was killed in the line of duty in Eustis. Proceeds from the tournament support the Lake County Sheriff’s Charity Fund while keeping Link’s legacy of service at the forefront.
Approximately 25 percent of the golfers were residents of The Plantation, with many participants also being active or retired law enforcement officers.

Before the tournament began, players heard remarks from State Rep. Taylor Yarkosky and a representative from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, underscoring the significance of the day and the lasting impact of Link’s service.

Golf Club Manager Brandon Jones described the event as “an incredible show of support for the Lake County Sheriff’s Charity Fund and the lasting memory of fallen officer Bradley Link.”
“This tournament is about giving back, honoring service, and growing something meaningful year after year — and we’re just getting started,” he wrote.

The annual event continues to gain momentum, bringing together community members, law enforcement professionals and supporters who share a commitment to honoring Link’s life and sacrifice.
Organizers have already set the date for next year’s tournament for Saturday, Jan. 23, 2027, once again at The Plantation Golf Club.
