Leesburg Christian Preparatory Expands Athletics Ahead of 2027 School Year

Leesburg Christian Preparatory School’s athletic department is gearing up for the 2026–2027 school year with the addition of several new programs. The school will offer cross country, volleyball, basketball, softball and track, with opportunities available at both the middle school and varsity levels.

Leesburg Christian opened its doors in January 2023 and continues to build its athletic program from the ground up. In its first year, the girls varsity basketball team won the FICAA State Tournament.

The school’s approach to education differs from traditional public schools. Administrators emphasize viewing each student as an individual with unique needs, strengths and areas for growth. The goal is to meet those needs, encourage strengths and develop areas that require additional support.

Leesburg Christian offers a flexible academic schedule designed to prepare students for college through one-on-one instruction. The curriculum includes courses focused on SAT and ACT preparation, along with smaller class sizes aimed at reducing distractions and enhancing learning.

Individualized academic and graduation plans are created for each student, with many encouraged to graduate in fewer than four years. Dual enrollment opportunities are also available for high school students.
