Eastport’s Newest Café Combines Specialty Coffee with Locally Baked Goods and Laid Back Vibe

Lucky Goat Coffee, the Florida-born specialty coffee brand known for its small-batch roasting and community-focused cafés, has opened its newest location in Eastport, continuing the company’s growth across the Southeast.

Founded in 2010 in Tallahassee, Lucky Goat Coffee began as a specialty roaster supplying premium wholesale beans and equipment to cafés throughout the region. What started as a local roasting operation has since evolved into a growing café brand recognized for approachable specialty coffee, welcoming spaces, and a commitment to quality in every cup.

The Eastport location is owned by Kyle MacDonald, Danielle Dellum and Nicole Benton, three longtime friends who were already familiar with the brand before deciding to open a café of their own.
“Who doesn’t love coffee?” Kyle says. “We could have chosen from a variety of franchise opportunities, but when we discovered Lucky Goat, we knew we wanted to be a part of this incredible company. We love the atmosphere, the environment, and the great coffee,” he says.

Guests can expect Lucky Goat favorites made with freshly roasted beans from Tallahassee, alongside teas, seasonal beverages, and a curated selection of local baked goods.
“We want people to ask questions and figure out what kind of drink fits them and their taste buds,” Kyle says.

In addition to coffee, the Eastport location features baked goods from Darlin’s Sweet Shoppe in Sawgrass Market. Owner Estelle Krasinski furnishes treats like the Swiss bacon caramelized onion frittata and a brookie, a combination of a chocolate chip cookie and brownie.

“I’m so happy to be part of this with Lucky Goat. They are amazing people and the coffee is such high quality,” Estelle says. “It’s great to see small business owners supporting each other. It’s a small but great community.”
Lucky Goat Coffee has continued to grow through a mix of company-owned cafés and franchise locations, with each location maintaining the company’s focus on specialty coffee and building an approachable experience. Whether you’re a seasoned coffee lover or just getting started, Lucky Goat is built around one goal: Make Great Coffee for everyone.

With the Eastport café now open, Lucky Goat adds a new option for coffee in The Villages’ expanding town center.
With doors now open in Eastport, the newest café adds another gathering place to an area that continues to build momentum, offering a quality approach to coffee and a space designed for both daily and first-time visitors.
