Mount Dora Christian Academy’s Jeffer Johnson Commits To Lake Erie College!
MDCA Does It Again!
Jeffer Johnson is headed to play football at Lake Erie College! The Mount Dora Christian Academy Athletics program has been on a tear lately! They have been sending athletes all over the country as the athletic dominance continues to play a huge role in the schools success!
Jeffer Johnson A True Athlete!
Jeffer Johnson is an awesome athlete! He played Defensive Linebacker for the Bulldogs this season and boy did he make an enormous impact! While he played Linebacker, Johnson also played Running Back carrying the ball 62 times for 403 yards and 6 touchdowns on the season.
Johnson really stood out on both sides of the ball. The versatility of Johnson makes him perfect for a school like Lake Erie College who are looking for offensive and defensive players to make an impact at the next level. The fact that Johnson can play both ways gives him a great opportunity to come into Lake Erie and hit the ground running!
Defensively Johnson had a team leading 61 tackles. He exploited opposing offenses and was excellent in open field coverage. The play of Johnson is the reason MDCA found themselves in the championship game for the second year in a row. Although they lost that game the MDCA Bulldogs are in prime position to go for it again next season!
This is a fantastic opportunity for Jeffer Johnson! We want to wish the Johnson Family a sincere congratulations along with the entire MDCA Athletics staff which continues to focus on these players and allow them opportunities to play at the next level. Go Jeffer we can’t wait to see what you can do for Lake Erie!

Kyle Coppola was born in Newton, Massachusetts and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communications from Curry College in 2016. After traveling to Florida on a family vacation, he decided he could not get enough of the warm weather and made the move from snowy Massachusetts to central Florida 8 years ago.
For the last decade Kyle has gained valuable experience in social media content creation, marketing and sales, writing, video production, sports announcing and even broadcasting for local radio stations, such as FM 102.9 in The Villages and FM 91.5 in Massachusetts. Every year he volunteers at The Villages Charter High School as a play-by-play sports announcer for the football games as well as a public address announcer for the basketball games, including the annual Battle at The Villages Tournament.
Outside the office Kyle is a husband and father to two beautiful girls along with their cat. In his spare time he likes to spend time with his family, travel, play golf and swim. He is also a huge sports junkie and even bigger motorsports fan and loves to attend racing events when he can.
