#3 Eustis High 50 | #1 The Villages Charter 69

Standard win for the favorite in this district. Villages were never challenged in the game and they wrap up yet another district championship victory. They will be highly ranked in the state tournament. This team could make a run deep into the playoffs. Coach McDowell has a tendency to get the most out of his teams and that’s exactly what he’s doing this season.

#2 Lecanto High 45 | #1 Leesburg High 53

Leesburg pulled off the win and moves to 12-12 on the season. They head to the playoffs with a ton of momentum. The game was close throughout the contest but The Yellow Jackets were able to hold off a late charge by Lecanto and seal the deal. Congratulations to the Leesburg Yellow Jackets and good luck in the Playoffs!

#2 Halifax Academy 20 | #1 Mount Dora Christian 76

What a dominant performance by The Bulldogs. They put it all together this year and this team is dangerous as they head into the playoffs. Look for the Bulldogs to be one of the favorites as they were last year as they look for yet another State Championship run.

#2 Williston High 70 | #1 Wildwood High 60

Tough loss for the Wildcats but they played their hearts out. If it wasn’t for some key mistakes the game could have been closer but still a respectable outing. The loss shouldn’t hurt the Wildcats playoff hopes but the final rankings may be impacted. Wildwood may not be as highly ranked in the playoffs now after this loss. The Wildcats still have a lot of momentum on their side so look for them to make some noise come playoff time.
