New Umatilla High Football Tradition Is A Big Win

A new Umatilla High Football tradition has been established by first year head coach Eric Samuels. The Umatilla High Football team may have had a tough year, but one thing is for sure, they have some amazing leadership. The new tradition involves seniors who pick a member of the Umatilla High School staff who had the biggest impact on them during their time at Umatilla High.

The new tradition was an instant success. Coach Eric Samuels has been receiving a ton of praise for this gesture and it is one that I hope schools will adopt. Not only are athletics important but school is just as equally imporant.

Principal Fraizer has been doing an incredible job with the Umatilla High program the past few years. Teachers at Umatilla High were presented with a shirt to show appreciation for the impact that they had on these young men’s lives.

Shout out to this great idea and we are so happy to see the teachers being recognized for their hard work. Go Bulldogs!
