History was made in Clermont as Real Life Christian Academy basketball player Jarett Johnson broke two school records in one remarkable night. RLCA dominated Apopka Christian with a convincing 99-39 victory, but the spotlight was on Jarett Johnson, who delivered one of the most significant individual performances in the program’s history.

(Senior Jarett Johnson #10 scored 45 points which was a school record. He also scored 13 three-pointers which also broke the previous school record of 8 in a single game.)

Jarett scored an incredible 45 points, setting a new school record for the highest number of points scored by any player. Additionally, he shattered the school record for three-pointers in a game. The previous record of 8 three-pointers was eclipsed as Jarrett sank thirteen, contributing to 39 of his 45 points.

We had the chance to talk with RLCA athletic director Debi Lawson who said “It’s a fantastic accomplishment. We are thrilled for Jarrett, his family, friends and coaches. 45 points and 13 three-pointers in one game are both school records at Real Life Christian Academy.”

For a high school athlete, these are extraordinary numbers. Jarett couldn’t miss on this night, showcasing an exceptional shooting performance. The win elevated the Raptors’ overall record to an impressive 14-3 for the year. To put that into perspective, Jarett is averaging 13.3 points per game this season, a mark he absolutely shattered on this particular evening. Head coach Frank Johnson is really getting the most out of his team this season.

We also want to give a big shoutout to a few other RLCA players including senior Alex Patterson and Leewood Whitfield who are both averaging 10 points per game. Manny Almonte is leading the team in average rebounds with 8 per game. The team is looking good down the final stretch of the season!

What an incredible accomplishment by this young man! Congratulations to Jarett Johnson! Best of luck to RLCA in the upcoming playoffs.
