Breakfast at Tiffany’s Opens its Doors in Downtown Leesburg
Downtown Leesburg welcomes a new addition to its food options with the recent opening of Breakfast at Tiffany’s, a charming breakfast and lunch eatery owned by Tiffany and James Hobgood.
“It’s an extension of my living room,” Tiffany says. “Our goal is just for people to have good food and good experiences.”
Tiffany and James began this venture more than a year ago, which included a full remodel of the restaurant from its former look when it was The Amsterdammer. They did all the renovations themselves, except for the drywall. This included tearing down of a middle wall, raising the ceiling and building a full kitchen. Between the remodel and waiting for permits, the restaurant was slightly behind their original opening date, but thankfully was able to have their soft opening on Friday.
The restaurant offers breakfast and lunch items all day – even if you want a burger at 7 a.m. Among the top menu items are the mouthwatering sausage gravy bombs, featuring Tiffany’s signature sausage gravy infused inside a biscuit and topped with garlic butter.
“It’s basically a reverse biscuits and gravy, only this is easier to eat on the go,” Tiffany says.
Another popular item is the ultimate breakfast casserole, a unique combination of bacon, cheese, tater tots, and eggs topped with ranch and buffalo sauce.
They also offer a steak breakfast, savory corned beef hash, PB&J pancake stack, cinnasugar biscuit bites, and the classic bacon, sausage and eggs.
The lunch menu features a roast beef Philly, stacked BLT club, fiesta chicken taco soup, a variety of salads, burgers, mini tater tots, sweet potato fries and Mac and cheese.
In addition to serving up delicious food, Breakfast at Tiffany’s is proud to partner with Hope Coffee, a Christian coffee company whose proceeds benefit various charitable causes.
Reflecting on their journey, Tiffany expressed gratitude for the opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream and credits God for guiding them along the way.
“We thank God for the opportunity to bring our vision to life,” Tiffany says. “Our goal comes from Matthew 5:16, which is to be a light to the world.”
Breakfast at Tiffany’s is open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday at 112 S 5th St. in Leesburg.
