Tavares Splash Park Closed Due To Mechanical Issues

Those hoping to cool off at the Tavares Splash Park got some unfortunate news this past weekend as the Splash Park is closed due to mechanical trouble. At this time, we are unsure of what the mechanical issues are, but it’s serious enough to have knocked the park out of commission for the time being.

The Tavares Splash Park is a very popular venue. Kids from all across Lake County come to use the park during the hot summer months. We attempted to reach out to the Town of Tavares regarding the Splash Park, but the mailbox was full. We did, however, get a pre-recorded message: “At this time, we are not sure when the splash park will reopen. Please continue to check the Town of Tavares website for further updates,” says the recording.

Further information on the website says that the Park is closed due to mechanical issues and that repairs to the park are currently underway. It is, however, too early to know when the issue will be fixed.

The park appears to be closed indefinitely until the proper repairs can be made. We will continue to provide further information when we have it.
