Anthony Pellicano

Anthony Pellicano built a successful career in law enforcement and intelligence, from active duty in the Army through the Federal Bureau of Prisons to the Department of Justice (DOJ) in Washington, DC.

“My proudest accomplishment is winning numerous director awards for my role in one of the largest arrests and drug seizures in the history of the DOJ.”

Throughout his career, Anthony demonstrated the teamwork, discipline and commitment to a cause he learned in the Army. Whether interviewing gang leaders and associates to gather intelligence or training federal, state and local agencies in counter-terrorism tactics, his ultimate goal was to build safer communities. 

Now Anthony sees an opportunity to help create safer communities right here at home, which is why he’s running for Sumter County Sheriff.

“I’ve enjoyed a career where I helped take guns away from criminals and illegal drugs off the streets, making communities safer across the country and around the world. Now, I see a need right here at home, and I’d like to make a difference.”

Anthony has an Italian Greyhound, a breed known for its affection and athleticism, named Mya.
