Black Bear Golf Club In Eustis Celebrates Grand Opening Of TopTracer Range
Eustis, Fla. — Black Bear Golf Club in Eustis, Florida, held the grand opening of its new TopTracer Range on Thursday, marking an exciting new addition to the popular public course. Representatives from the Lake Eustis Area Chamber of Commerce attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony, welcoming the innovative driving range technology to the local golfing community.
(Each of the bay’s are set up with patio chairs and industrial fans to keep everyone cool during the summer months. The overhang provides plenty of shade to guests.)
The TopTracer Range, a system that offers players interactive and data-driven practice sessions, is designed to enhance the experience for golfers of all skill levels. From friendly competitions to professional-level swing analysis, the new feature provides a dynamic twist to traditional practice ranges.
“This is a fantastic addition to Black Bear Golf Club, and we’re thrilled to bring something new and exciting to our guests,” said a representative from the club. “TopTracer will allow players to hone their skills while having a lot of fun.”
(Each Bay is set up with a monitor to see your statistics along with chairs and an attenuator between golf mats to keep everyone safe just in case of an errant hit.)
The range operates on a bucket-based pricing system, with different packages available for players. A small bucket of 40 balls costs $10, while a medium bucket with 70 balls is $15. For more extended sessions, a large bucket of 170 balls is available for $33. Special weekend and holiday rates apply after 5 p.m., with small, medium, and large buckets priced at $15, $20, and $38, respectively.
The local community are invited to bring friends and use the TopTracer bays, which accommodate up to six people. Strict safety and behavior guidelines ensure that everyone has an enjoyable and respectful experience. Guests are reminded that outside food or beverages are not permitted, but refreshments are available at the club’s Bears Den Restaurant.

Having used systems like TopTracer this is big for our area to have something like this. Typically you get stuff like this closer to the cities, to see this type of technology working its way to Lake County is a very good thing. As a golfer myself I can’t tell you how much of a benefit this will be for the area. Be sure to try it out!

Kyle Coppola was born in Newton, Massachusetts and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communications from Curry College in 2016. After traveling to Florida on a family vacation, he decided he could not get enough of the warm weather and made the move from snowy Massachusetts to central Florida 8 years ago.
For the last decade Kyle has gained valuable experience in social media content creation, marketing and sales, writing, video production, sports announcing and even broadcasting for local radio stations, such as FM 102.9 in The Villages and FM 91.5 in Massachusetts. Every year he volunteers at The Villages Charter High School as a play-by-play sports announcer for the football games as well as a public address announcer for the basketball games, including the annual Battle at The Villages Tournament.
Outside the office Kyle is a husband and father to two beautiful girls along with their cat. In his spare time he likes to spend time with his family, travel, play golf and swim. He is also a huge sports junkie and even bigger motorsports fan and loves to attend racing events when he can.
