Brooke Vermeulen Uses Her Local Expertise to Make Your Real Estate Journey Seamless

“Moving is one of the biggest decisions you make in life. Whether you’re a buyer or seller, being part of that process is truly an honor,” says Brooke Vermeulen, Realtor® with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty.
Brooke works with Florida residents who are relocating, as well as transplants to the Sunshine State.
“I go above and beyond to make things easier for them and take a lot of pride in this. Being a local, I know the neighborhoods and area well,” she says. “I approach things differently; I get ahead of possible issues and find solutions. Things don’t always go as planned, but my goal is to make things as seamless as possible.”
Recently honored as “2024 Rookie of the Year” by the REALTORS® Association of Lake and Sumter Counties, Brooke was also voted runner-up for the prestigious “Best of the Best” Realtor award for Lake and Sumter Style Magazine, all after her first year in real estate. Making her mark, she produced over an astounding $3.8 million in sales and earned the coveted designation of Luxury Collection Specialist. Brooke is in the top 14 percent of Berkshire Hathaway agents nationwide and was recently inducted into their Honors Society.
“I’m a people person and I’ve always loved sales, so real estate is the perfect combination,” she says.
A Florida native, Brooke lives in Mount Dora and has called Lake County home since 1991. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors degree, specializing in communication.
Today, her real estate clients benefit from her professionalism and attention to detail. Buyers and sellers both rave about the fact that she’s always available to answer questions and address their concerns, which makes the whole process as stress-free as possible.
If Brooke looks familiar, you might have seen her on television as one of the bachelorettes on ABC’s “The Bachelor” in 2003, or when she and her family competed on “Family Feud” in 2011. Those experiences made fun memories, but her focus now is on her daughters and her business.
When she’s not working, Brooke is busy with her girls-Brynn, 10, Campbell, 16, and Christa, 17-who all compete in junior rodeo.
“When I’m not working, I enjoy my time with my girls,” she says, adding that this includes her Goldendoodle, “Presley.”
“I truly love my job!” says Brooke. “I have the opportunity to connect with people, understand their needs and make a real difference for them.”
