Bushnell’s Amor & Agave Brings Authentic Mexican Flavors to Community

At Amor & Agave Mexican Cuisine in Bushnell, family and tradition are at the heart of every dish.
Owners Dinora “Elizabeth” Zepeda and Roberto Ramos moved from Florida’s Panhandle with a mission: to share the rich, homemade flavors of authentic Mexican cooking with their new community. Since opening at 2282 County Road 48, the restaurant has quickly become a local favorite.

(The food at Amor and Agave Mexican Cuisine is always made fresh.)
Everything on the menu is made in-house with fresh ingredients, from handmade corn tortillas to the cheesy, savory quesabirrias served with consommé. Other standouts include the Ramos Favorite, a 12-ounce ribeye topped with shrimp and the Aloha Fajitas, served sizzling inside a halved, grilled pineapple with steak, shrimp, chicken and ham.

(Tacos bust with flavor in every bite.)
Beyond the food, Amor & Agave has built a reputation as a gathering spot. The restaurant hosts live music on the first and third Wednesday of each month from 6 to 9 p.m. and offers two-for-one house margaritas daily. With a full liquor license and a commitment to community support, Zepeda and Ramos say they are planning even more offerings in the future.

(While the food is terrific the drink offerings are fantastic. Amor & Agave have their liquor license and make some awesome adult beverages.)
For many regulars, Amor & Agave is more than just a place to eat, it’s a place to feel welcome, enjoy family traditions, and taste love in every bite. Be sure to give them a try if you haven’t already.
They are open 7 days a week. Sunday through Thursday they are open 11am-9pm and Friday and Saturday’s they are open 11am-11pm.
