At Pay-Per-Klip Salon in Eustis, owner Jessica Merchant and manager Joy Butterley lead a full-service salon and spa known for skill, mentorship and a strong sense of community. 

“We’ve become a well-known name in the area,” says Jessica. “Our clients are amazing about recommending us and there’s a real sense of camaraderie in the salon. A lot of them know all of us—not just their stylist but also their esthetician and massage therapists. 

At Pay-Per-Klip, stylists are trained through an in-house mentorship program, with hands-on guidance from start to finish. “Everybody’s on the same level—whether you’re brand new or have done hair forever,” says Joy.

With 22 years of experience, Joy is a short-hair expert. Jessica, a long-hair, foil and blonding specialist with 26 years of experience, adds: “We train our stylists from the ground up with high standards and hands-on mentorship—it takes real dedication, but it’s worth it to grow great talent.”
