OXFORD, Fla. — Family, friends, and community members will gather on Friday, February 21, at Oxford Assembly of God to honor the life of Joel Law, who tragically passed away last month in a devastating car accident.

The Celebration of Life service will begin with visitation from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., followed by a memorial service from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. The family has extended an open invitation to all who wish to remember and pay tribute to Joel, sharing memories and finding comfort together.

Law lost his life when the Chevrolet truck he was riding in with his daughter, Bryleigh Law, collided with another vehicle that swerved to avoid a car running a red light. While Joel’s daughter Bryleigh Law survived the wreck, Joel unfortunately lost his life in the crash. While the story is tragic, many couragous individuals helped save Bryleigh’s life.

One such story is that of Travis El Chivo and several other bystanders who rushed to assist at the crash scene as the vehicle erupted in flames. Their bravery in the face of danger helped Bryleigh survive as she was pulled from the wreckage. You can read about that story here:

Joel Law is remembered as an outdoorsman and loving father. For all those looking to attend, the address of the church is 12114 US-301 in Oxford, Florida 34484.
