NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Country music legend Randy Travis is heading back on tour with the More Life Tour, featuring fellow artist James Dupré and Travis’ long-time touring band. The tour comes to The Sharon L. Morse Performing Arts Center in The Villages on Tuesday, January 28th at 7pm and is presented Joe Bamford’s Get Off The Bus Concerts. This tour marks the first time Travis’ band, affectionately known as “Hoss,” has hit the road with the Country Music Hall of Fame member since before his debilitating stroke in 2013.

The show will highlight Dupré, who starred alongside Travis in the film The Price, performing all 16 of Travis’ iconic number-one hits, including “On The Other Hand,” “Forever and Ever, Amen,” and “Three Wooden Crosses.” Fans can also expect a special appearance by Travis himself. VIP packages, available in most markets, include a meet and greet with the country icon. Tickets will be available on the official website, RandyTravis.com, as they go on sale.

“We are incredibly excited to be back on the road and give Randy’s fans a chance to hear his music live again, and who better to sing his many hits than James Dupré?” said Mary and Randy Travis in a joint statement.

The tour comes as Travis continues to make headlines with his best-selling memoir, Forever and Ever, Amen: A Memoir of Music, Faith and Braving the Storms of Life. The book, praised for its candid storytelling, has been featured on TODAY, The 700 Club, People Magazine, Billboard, and more. It is available through online retailers and at Barnes & Noble, Cracker Barrel, Books-a-Million, and other outlets.

Adding to the excitement, Travis released two new singles this summer, “One in a Row” and “Lead Me Home,” giving fans more reasons to celebrate the enduring legacy of this Grand Ole Opry star.
