Eustis High Announces Tyra Bowers As New Head Softball Coach
Eustis High School is proud to announce that Tyra Bowers has been hired as the new EHS Softball Coach. From the current EHS assistant coach, Coach Bowers moves into this new role with vast experiences that have fully prepared her to lead the program and continue the excellence represented by Lady Panther Softball.
“The program has achieved great success, while being led by a strong, unified coaching staff. The tradition continues with the outstanding expertise in coaching from Robert Scott and Chris Mansfield supporting Coach Bowers.” said Principal Tracy Clark.
“The three of us are a unified front and we rely on each other,” says coach Bowers. Principal Clark could not agree more, “We need all three of these fabulous coaches to remain unified as they seamlessly make the transition with the departure of Coach Beall. Coach Beall is a legend at Eustis High School and is dearly missed. However, our Lady Panthers will continue their dominance under the leadership of Tyra Bowers. Tyra is a Eustis High graduate who was a standout player under coach Brittany Beall. and went on to play at the college level,” says Principal Clark.
Coach Brittany Beall brought two state championships to the Eustis High School program and has moved on to coach the FAMU Rattlers. Principal Clark went on to say “Coach Bowers along with Coach Scott and Coach Mansfield will have the same high expectations and will prepare all players through hard work and dedication. They will bring out the best in them as players and prepare them for the future, as they flourish in the game they love and enjoy,” said Principal Clark.
Congratulations to coach Tyra Bowers and we are very much looking forward to the defending State Champions and what they will be able to do in 2025! Go Lady Panthers!
